The Role

Prime Recruitment Services is recruiting for a Bowling Control Clerk to work within a busy leisure facility in Dundonald.

This is a customer-facing role where you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the Tenpin Bowling Centre while on shift. You will work with customers, manage lane bookings, handle payments and help supervise customer service staff to ensure the centre operates smoothly.

This would suit someone with previous experience in leisure, hospitality, customer service, reception or another busy public-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the bowling centre's electronic point-of-sale system.
• Manage bowling lane allocations, timings and customer bookings.
• Take payments, handle cash and assist with reconciliations.
• Deal with telephone and in-person customer enquiries.
• Help coordinate leagues, tournaments and special events.
• Provide on-shift supervision and support to customer service staff.
• Assist with staff training, rotas and new-starter inductions.
• Carry out routine lane and bowling-area preparation and maintenance.
• Ensure customers receive a friendly, safe and enjoyable experience.
• Complete relevant health & safety, cleaning and incident records.
• Respond appropriately to accidents and incidents within the facility.

What We're Looking For

Applicants must have:

• At least one year's experience within a similar working environment.
• Previous experience dealing directly with members of the public.
• Experience recording and maintaining information.
• Experience using an electronic point-of-sale system in the workplace.

It would also be beneficial to have previous leisure industry or reception experience, experience using IT-based systems, or a First Aid at Work qualification. Candidates must also be able to work unsociable hours on a rota basis and additional hours when required.

Pay

PAYE: £13.69 per hour
