Prime Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for Operations Coordinators to support the management team at Dundonald International Ice Bowl.
This is a temporary role supporting the day-to-day operation of the centre, including staff coordination, rota planning, customer service, health and safety, contractor liaison and support across Dundonald Touring Caravan Park.
π― The Role
As Operations Coordinator, you will work as part of the management team and support the Operations Manager in ensuring the centre runs safely, efficiently and professionally.
You will help coordinate Senior Recreation Assistants and Recreation Assistants, support the delivery of operational programmes, supervise functions within the centre, and act as manager on duty as required.
π§ Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- π Coordinating staff rotas to ensure suitable cover across the centre
- π₯ Supervising operational staff and supporting day-to-day service delivery
- π’ Assisting with the management of Dundonald International Ice Bowl and Dundonald Touring Caravan Park
- π Supporting excellent customer service standards across all areas of the facility
- π§Ή Liaising with cleaning, security, caretaking and external contractors
- π Assisting with business planning, reports, estimates and financial monitoring
- π‘ Supporting income generation, marketing activity and operational improvements
- π Helping coordinate training for recreation staff
- π Supporting HR processes, recruitment, leave planning and employee relations matters
- π¦Ί Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- ποΈ Supporting events, bookings, clubs, associations and operational programmes
- π€ Promoting equality, inclusion and high standards of public service
- π Acting as manager on duty in line with the agreed rota
β Requirements
Applicants should have experience in a supervisory, operational or leisure management environment and be confident managing staff, rotas, customer service and day-to-day operational issues.
The ideal candidate will have:
- π₯ Experience supervising staff or coordinating teams
- π Strong organisational and rota planning skills
- π¬ Good customer service and communication skills
- π€ Ability to work with contractors, internal departments and members of the public
- π¦Ί Understanding of health and safety in an operational environment
- π Ability to work flexibly, including unsociable hours where required
- π‘ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- β A professional and positive approach to service delivery

The post-holder must be flexible and prepared to work unsociable hours on a rota basis. Additional hours may be required depending on operational needs.
